Mike Paque, Executive Director – Among the responsibilities of Executive Director are developing and maintaining an effective relationship between the GWPC, its member components, and the USDOE and USEPA; monitoring legislation, rule making and guidance development related to groundwater issues; increasing membership; developing position papers; and representing GWPC on national and federal work groups and committees. 

Dan Yates, Associate Executive Director - Dan is the initial contact person for all GWPC Board and Committee related communications.  He is the lead staff in developing grants, developing and overseeing project management plans, and overseeing reporting on grant related projects.  Dan is also the staff lead on source water related issues.

Paul Jehn, Technical Director – Paul has twenty-five years experience in environmental assessment, policy development, evaluation, remediation, pollution prevention and management. His duties include providing technical assistance to states, local governments, citizen groups and individuals in ground water, Class V injection wells, wellhead, and source water protection. Paul is the lead staff person on all RBDMS projects.

Mark Layne, Ph.D., Technical Director - Mark received his Doctorate of Engineering, specializing in Petroleum Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology (formally University of Missouri – Rolla) in 1996. He then worked for a major engineering consulting company and was a founding partner of ALL Consulting in Tulsa, Ok.  In the private sector he managed/designed/developed numerous projects dealing with development of data management systems, most notably: the Risk Based Data Management System and FracFocus. Mark also worked on numerous client projects that required Petroleum Engineering, Environmental, and Regulatory support as part of their business specializing in support to the upstream petroleum industry and state regulatory agencies.  Currently at GWPC he is working with several States directly on RBDMS, coordinating SOGRE reviews, providing direct support and direction on FracFocus, and participating in a number of other initiatives GWPC currently has ongoing, including Produced Water Research.

Mike Nickolaus, Special Projects Director – Mike has over thirty years of geologic experience, including twenty years as a state regulatory official.  He is responsible for the coordination of activities to support state UIC programs including project development, presentation preparation, technical document preparation and review, and special report development in areas such as arsenic contamination in ground water, environmental regulations for oil and gas exploration and production, and CO2 geo-sequestration.  Mike is the lead staff person for FracFocus.

Kelsey Henry, CPA - Financial Director - Kelsey manages and directs all financial and monetary matters of the GWPC and GWREF in conjunction with the Executive Director. 

Brenda Short, Office Manager – Brenda coordinates the logistical aspects of GWPC events.  In addition to meeting coordination, she provides executive level support to both the Executive and Associate Executive Director, provides reception and secretarial duties for all staff, and has several bookkeeping and general office management duties.

Tara Gross, Senior Geologist, Water Management Specialist - Tara works to develop groundwater policy and RBDMS project tracking. She comes to the GWPC with previous experience in industry.

Erica Carr, Communications Director - Erica manages strategic communications and outreach for GWPC and FracFocus and designs and develops content for the web, Communique newsletter and social media.
