The Ground Water Protection Council receives federal funding in the form of grants that are obtained through the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  These grants are used for ground water advocacy, state coordination, meetings, research and state support.  To see information about grants select one of the following:

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

The Ground Water Protection Council uses grant funding obtained through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to facilitate the protection of ground water through state programs.  Grant funds are used for state programs support and coordination, ground water protection meetings, and ground water advocacy.  To see information about a specific grant year, select from the list below.

U.S. Department of Energy

The Ground Water Protection Council uses grant funding from the U.S. Department of Energy to facilitate the protection of ground water as it relates to energy production.  This includes development and implementation of the Risk Based Data Management System (RBDMS) and Cost Effective Regulatory Approaches (CERA) projects such as the:
