Ground Water Conservation

Conserving ground water resources is a charge we must all take seriously.

Conservation embodies the two critical elements of ground water protection: Quality AND Quantity.  These elements are linked in time and space by the nature of the resource.  In order to achieve our ultimate goal of protecting ground water, we must recognize that conservation is an integral part of the protection equation.

As an association of state agencies charged with the protection of ground water, the GWPC's mission includes conservation of this vital natural resource. Along with its citizen based counterpart The Groundwater Foundation, GWPC is dedicated to the protection of ground water resources; both for ourselves, and for our children.
