Annual RBDMS Training

The annual RBDMS training was held May 3-5, 2004 in Ventura California. The California Department of Oil and Gas and Geothermal Resources hosted the training this year. This year’s training agenda focused on states training states. Agenda items included:

´ Demonstration of the Alaska RBDMS system: Steve Davies

´ Imaging: Jim Lindholm (North Dakota); Ben Stone (New Mexico); and Thom Kerr (Colorado).

´ Electronic Reporting: Dan Jarvis (Utah) and Mary Wistrom (Nebraska).

´ SQL server data migration, replication and synchronization, creating charts, stored procedures, migrating from Access, creating forms, building relationships and referential integrity: Richard Inge (New Mexico); Jim Lindholm (North Dakota); Thom Kerr (Colorado); and Bill Adkins (Kentucky).

´ RBDMS 102: Dan Jarvis (Utah); Mary Wistrom (Nebraska) and Kyle Jorez (North Dakota).

The RBDMS user states have reached a new level of expertise and have shown that states are providing the technical expertise to assist other states in program implementation and support.
