Table of Contents

This is the most comprehensive bibliography published to date on injection wells in the United States. It is an update of the editions published by the Underground Injection Practices Council in 1989 and 1993. The project was designed by the Ground Water Protection Council as a primary reference tool for persons interested in the operation, construction, and regulation of various types of injection wells.

Nine scientific databases were searched for references associated with underground injection wells. Holdings of the Ground Water Protection Council's Library were also included. The databases searched were:
