Webinar featuring Daniel Holloway, Principal Project Manager with the Hampton Roads Sanitation District in Virginia. SWIFT is an innovative water treatment and managed aquifer recharge project in eastern Virginia designed to further protect the region’s environment, enhance the sustainability of the region’s long-term groundwater supply and help address environmental pressures such as Chesapeake Bay restoration, sea level rise and saltwater intrusion.
Dan is a Hydrogeologist who has been with the Hampton Roads Sanitation District for the past three years where he works primarily on the development of the Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow, an approximately 50 MGD Managed Aquifer Recharge initiative. Prior to HRSD, Dan worked for 20 years for CH2MHILL/Jacobs where he started working on SWIFT in 2014 and in addition led various groundwater supply efforts including supply development, withdrawal permitting, ASR investigation projects, design of well facilities for large municipal withdrawals.
